     Jon McLaughlin
oversees day-to-day operations, reports to the executive committee and board of directors and coordinates activities with the industry-specific marketing teams.  Prospects can expect Jon to be their advocate, primary contact person in southern Aroostook County, and to act as their facilitator for all other agencies and   organizations involved in economic development in southern Aroostook County.  Jon's extensive business background has been in all phases of a family business engaged in wood products manufacturing.  He is a trustee of the Houlton Regional Hospital, vice-chairman of School Administrative District #29, member and past president of the Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce, member and past president of the Houlton Rotary Club, past chairman of the Houlton Planning Board and past regional advisor for Katahdin Trust Company. Jon is a state Certified Economic Developer.

         Chris Anderson

Is a director and  the registered agent of the corporation.  He is president of F. A. Peabody Company,  a multi-line insurance agency that also specializes in financial services.  This Houlton based company has five branch offices in northern and eastern Maine.   F. A. Peabody is the parent company of FAPCO Administrative Services, providing third party administration to funeral home trusts and municipalities statewide and Travel Connections, a full service travel  agency.  Chris serves as the president  of LEAD  (Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development)  for the year 2000. He is  past president of the Greater Houlton Chamber of  Commerce and the Houlton Rotary Club.

           Peter Chase

Is the secretary. He is co-owner and president of Buildings Etectera, Inc., a general contracting firm serving the industrial, commercial and institutional market in northern Maine.  He is past president and  current director of LEAD (Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development), member and past president of the Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce, former director of  Houlton Regional Health Services Foundation and a  past selectman for the Town of New Limerick.

           Glenn Clarke

Is the corporation's treasurer. He is president and CEO of Maine Brand Manufacturing,  Inc., a Littleton based manufacturer of high quality  cotton and leather work gloves. He is also president  of National Glove Company, Ltd., St. Lucia, West  Indies and vice president of Romark Fabrics, Inc.,  a manufacturer of knit fabrics for safety apparel. His most recent acquisition is Monte Glove Company with three manufacturing facilities in Mississippi.
